Fundraising

Hi All,
As much as I hate dealing with money, I think we will soon need to begin thinking of ways we can raise funds in order to support thi enterprise.
This is definitely not my area of expertise, so hopefully we will soon be girfted with a treasurer.
A couple of fundraising ideas I have:
1) sponsor art and or writing contests on the net, with entry fee and modest prize. The entry fee could be... maybe 4 or 5 dollars, and the winner could win 25$ plus the right to display some sort of award banner on their website etc.
2) Sponsorship, but I really have no clue as to how that works.
eventually I hope we will be able to develop testing which shows IQ and aptitude ( maybe like a IQ/ASVAB type combination test) which we will be able to charge a usage fee for for prospective members and also outside companies and organizations, but I guess that is a ways away. Anyone out there know how we might be able to do that?
I'd love to hear from you about this, and welcome and person who is interested in the treasury position to get in touch with me.
